Part Time Customer Support & Business Administrator

£14-15 per hour (dependent upon experience)

15-22.5 hours a week

Office-based in Devoran, Truro.

 

About us:

We’re a family business, providing dentists with radiation protection advice and support to ensure they are working safely with x-rays and we are now growing our team to meet the needs of our clients.

The role:

We care about doing things properly for our customers and are looking for a friendly, well-organised person to join the heart of our small team to provide customer support and support our wider business work processes.  You’ll be one of the main points of contact for customers, handling calls and emails, keeping things moving and supporting customers from their first enquiry through to completion.

This is an ideal role for an all-rounder with a passion for customer service and process improvement. This is a niche field – no prior knowledge of dentistry or radiation is required; previous administration experience would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering new enquiries and support requests from existing customers
  • Collecting information from customers and inputting it into our MS Office based systems (Excel)
  • Issuing customers with completed documentation
  • Helping with invoicing and checking payments (Sage)

About you:

  • Friendly
  • Self-motivated and well-organised
  • Clear communicator (verbal and written), friendly telephone manner
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable asking for help/checking detail
  • Comfortable using email, MS Word, Excel
  • Previous admin or customer service experience is helpful, but not essential
  • Team player ready to roll up your sleeves and develop your knowledge and skills

What we offer:

  • In the region of 15 to 22.5 hours per week – hours and working days to be discussed at interview but ideally working the agreed hours over three or more days a week
